Jackie Chan named Singapore's anti-drug ambassador

08 05 2015

Rush Hour actor Jackie Chan has been announced as Singapore's anti-drug ambassador, and has helped launch the new anti-drug mobile game app, Aversion, with players aiming to avoid contact with drugs and learning the harm that different drugs can cause.

Chan, whose son Jaycee spent six months in prison in China after police found marijuana in his home last year, commented 'Younger people increasingly see drugs as a 'personal choice'. The reality is, drugs are addictive and harmful to both the mind and body. One cannot experiment with drugs and not get hooked'.
